A moment with Respect winner Ed Rzeszutko
There is no denying that Ed Rzeszutko is a people person. Ed, who started his journey with our Sybron Endo/Kerr brand in 2007, enjoys working with customers, students, colleagues, and anyone else he may come across in his role as a National Key Account Manager.
Primarily, Ed works with special markets, with a large focus on Dental Service Organizations. He ensures clinicians get the tools to provide the best possible patient care. To do this, Ed spends his time assessing customers’ needs, creating quotes, organizing continuing education courses, and providing training. “We aren’t just a product company; we are a people company,” said Ed. “I get great satisfaction in finding the right solutions for my customers, showing them best practices and new techniques, and seeing the results. When dentists take their craft to the next level, it is a win-win for all.”
Ed has a great deal of respect for his customers, whom he considers friends. He enjoys his job with Kerr because he is encouraged to focus on finding the right product for each practitioner.
“At the end of the day, we are all here for the same purpose—improving the lives of the patients we touch. In my mind, if you do right by the end user, then the money will come. Everything else falls into place,” said Ed.
Ed is the type of person who talks to anybody and everybody. He doesn’t care about titles and will befriend anyone from the person mopping the floors to the CEO. He appreciates the richness of getting to know people from all walks of life and mentoring people new to the dental industry.
“Working with dental students is always a highlight. I want to be a resource to them and help build a great career,” said Ed. “Once they graduate, there is an established trust relationship, and they want to work with us because they know our employees are knowledgeable.”
It is because of Ed’s respect for all those he encounters, his respect for doing the right thing, and his respect for the quality of patient care that Ed is our 2023 CIRCLe Values Respect Award recipient.
Ed, thank you for your hard work and for setting such a great example to others.
